Samaritan’s Purse: Operation Christmas Child
Each year in December, Samaritan’s Purse hosts Operation Christmas Child where millions of shoebox gifts bring hope and joy to children around the world. And each year, Inter-Chrome Dental Lab’s team participates with help from our local dental community. We distribute empty shoeboxes to our clients who then so generously help us custom-fill each box. Lisa also volunteered one year at Operation Christmas Child’s processing center in North Carolina.
Operation Christmas Child Collection Program
Once boxes are collected from our clients, Inter-Chrome delivers them to a local collection center. The boxes are then trucked to the national processing center in Charlotte, NC where they were checked, boxed and shipped to various remote locations all over the world. Thank you to our clients for your participation!

National Food Bank Day
On Friday, September 3rd, our country recognized National Food Bank Day! In the United States millions of individuals and children face hunger and food insecurity every day. In honor of this day and in support of our community, Inter-Chrome team members came together to collect non-perishable items for our local food pantry! We are so excited to be able to directly impact our community and help those in need.Thank you to our team for supporting this cause! A warm thank you to all who participated! Each year, Inter-Chrome has teamed up with our local dental offices to fill shoe boxes for Operation Christmas Child. At its heart, Operation Christmas Child is about the impact of a single gift delivered with the Good News of Jesus Christ into the hands of a boy or girl living in the midst of poverty and despair. Thanks to the warm hearts and helping hands, millions of children have the opportunity to experience the joy of Christmas.
We will be delivering boxes to our participating clients during the last week of October into early November. Please call us if you would like to participate and we will gladly deliver boxes to you.
Once again we will be sponsoring the $9 postage charge per box.

Oral Cancer Awareness Month!

Inter-Chrome has partnered with several local & national organizations in the realm of oral cancer awareness, including a local fitness club, Unify, & the Oral Cancer Cause, headed by our friend Linda Miles.
A lot of attention is paid to oral cancer during the month of April, and as it winds down we want to continue to bring awareness to the fact that your general dentist can help you diagnose oral cancer suspicions! If you have a friend or family member that has even an inkling of a place in the mouth that feels abnormal for any length of time, encourage them to get to a screening, it may just save their life.
