Meet our speakers:
Roxzanne J. Amos, DMD
Dr. Amos earned her Doctorate in Dental Medicine from the University Of Florida College Of Dentistry. Energized about advances in all aspects of dentistry, and self-professed dental nerd, she devoted herself to learning to address her patient’s complex needs and occlusal problems by completing the core curriculum at the Dawson Academy, Pankey Institute, as well as the Spear Institute and multiple small group study clubs. She is the sole practitioner/owner of Bright Life Dentistry in Virginia Beach and is passionate about helping her patients improve their overall health through appropriate dental care.
Dr. Amos traveled to Guatemala many times to serve on dental/medical mission teams to bring relief and care to those who need it desperately. She grew up in Winter Park, Florida and moved to Virginia Beach in 2003 when the U.S. Navy assigned her husband, Mike, to Naval Air Station Oceana. They enjoyed the area so much, when her husband retired from the Navy, they decided to stay and raise their family. They now reside in Virginia Beach with their son Luke and their yellow lab mix, “TJ” while their older son is off to sail the sevens seas. She enjoys cooking and baking, being an active member of her church, and focusing on health and fitness activities, and travels whenever possible. Visit www.brightlifedentistry.com.
